Area Development: Under an Area Development (AD) franchise Agreement (ADA), an AD has the right to open more than one unit during a specific time, within a specified area. For example, an AD may agree to open 5 units over a five year period in a specified territory. The rights for the Development of the assigned territory will be solely granted to the Area Developer.

Multi-Unit Franchise: Multi-unit franchising creates the opportunity for a franchisee to open more than one unit in any territory however the territory in grand is still open to other franchising opportunities.

Single Unit Franchise: a single unit franchisee under a single unit franchise agreement has the right to open one Classic Burger Joint location in a territory. This territory may be serviced either by the franchisor or by franchisor’s representative .

CLASSIC Burger Joint is looking for driven, passionate, active partners with food and beverage/hospitality experience and a track record in both, setup and ongoing management of multiple sites. An exception to this would be Partners with an existing, proven management structure, with the aim and drive to develop multiple sites in a territory and to commit to an agreed-upon development schedule

Area Development Fee = TBA
Initial Franchise Fee = TBA
Monthly Service Fee (Royalties) = 6% of Gross sales
Marketing Funds = 2% Gross Sales

The franchise fees do not include the initial investment required to construct the restaurant, grand opening expenses, or opening inventory. A full business plan is required as we move forward with the franchise recruitment process, which will assess in-depth the value of the capital investment required

Classic Burger Joint provides such key financial performance representations in the further documentation we shall share with you throughout the franchise recruitment process. Prospective franchisees are also encouraged to conduct their own independent investigation to determine potential sales and profit levels prior to signing any binding agreement. In advanced stages, we will connect you to existing franchisees who will be a resource you can use for more information.

Initial qualification involves a series of background checks and interviews and generally takes 3-4 weeks. From there on, franchise recruitment process starts to get more interactive with regular meetings. From the time you receive the initial approval till we successfully sign the Franchise Agreements, it should take no more than 3-4 months.

1. As a Single Unit Franchisee, you will receive a store operation and management training program covering all aspects of successfully operating and managing a CBJ restaurant and this will include matters such as, choosing the right location, store design and construction, sourcing products, hiring staff, food preparation and customer service, LSM (local store marketing), store inventory and control, profitability and KPI analysis.
2. As a Multi-Unit Franchisee or Area Developer, you will receive the above training alongside 2 of your key staff and in addition, there will be a Development training program

You will be responsible for the construction of your restaurant. However, CLASSIC Burger Joint has a wealth of resources to assist you, including the names of general contractors with significant experience building restaurants.
